My Bio
I've always had a fascination with cameras. I would beg for them at birthday parties, outings and what-not from the "grown-ups" ALL the time. It wouldn't be a surprise that I would discover a deep rooted passion in saving memories/moments in high school, get my first DSLR and take off from there.
I'm also always a talented writer (writing college level in middle school, if-ah-don't-mind-sayin) and will always write in my spare time about all and anything. I've stacks of random pages of prose and poems, or just windows into a few thoughtful moments, but I'm not afraid to share them with others and in fact I find it very therapeutic.
A proud Eagle Scout, I've also a passion for the outdoors, as you can see reflected in what I shoot... I'm currently enrolled in college to purse a major in Environmental Science and Management! And though I love photography and writing, I see these more as useful talents and tools for my journey more-so than careers.
Obsessed with baseball... A bit old for a hardball league so I actually started leading a softball team of my own over here in NK. We're called, "The Sons of Pitches" (ZING). Though that only comes around in Spring or Summer, it's become a fantastic tradition that betters my friends and I, and brings us together with a common goal. It's pretty fuckin' awesome... :)
A loving family. A great group of characters I call friends. I don't know what I'd do without 'em!

I've come a long way since the coldest days of last Winter, and I think I've just about got it. I don't know if it's just reflective of the seasons, but past events that shook me to the very core lead me to believe otherwise.
But now, instead of pacing up and down the pier with my eyes to the ground lost in uncertainty I find that now my head's held high and my eyes are back on the stars, trying as hard as they possibly can to pierce into the cosmos.
I believe people, humans more-so as a whole, underestimate the power of silence when as species we only find solace in interaction, the strongest evidence of existence. I, I am here.

Confidence. I had it the other day. Just for ONE momennt... And it's slipped well through my fingers and it's all over the floor now. I'm hunched over, using my own shirt to somehow soak it up and wringe it back into a vision. I hate this. I fucking hate this. I can't think of a more appropriate arrangement in the English language to best describe how I feel right now, than I FUCKING HATE THIS. I'm so far along I have NO idea where I am. I'm just... in this routine. I've got this life. It's linear... yes. It has begun, and it will end. I am breathing. I am a man. I eat, sleep, poop... and repeat. EVERY day. BUT WHO AM I?! More appropriately..

-_- Unfortunately, no I don't attend URI... And to be quite honest I fell off the photography boat as well... Been trying to figure out my path, where I fit the best.
*sigh*
Honestly the fact you thought it was good enough made me feel really good though! And kinda gets that itch to get into it again going... But I've been on-and-off doing shoots rarely now. And I haven't really even kept up with my equipment, it's starting to get out of date.
I wish I could help you more! I took a look at your page and your stuff is amazing! Watched the YouTube account too with the sped-up drawing videos... I was blown away! How in the eff do you do that?!
A load of my friends go there, so I can definitely ask around for you if you'd like? Idk if you already got the answers you were looking for or what-not, but I'd be glad to help!

I'd like to know how "in depth" it is, since I'm considering going into either animation or the gaming industry.
And, I'd like to know about the BFA program in general. Especially about how much homework is assigned/what kind of assignments are typical for freshmen to have.
